CAIR’s Boogeymen

H/T to JihadWatch

CAIR asks US leaders to “address growing Islamophobia”

WASHINGTON, July 8, 2009 /PRNewswire-USNewswire via COMTEX/ —-A prominent national Islamic civil rights and advocacy group today cited recent anti-Muslim incidents nationwide in calling on American leaders to address what it said is a “growing level of anti-Muslim prejudice and stereotyping” in American society.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) said opinion leaders, policymakers and law enforcement authorities should speak out against the type of Islamophobic rhetoric on Internet hate sites and on talk radio programs that may lead to bias-motivated attacks.

So, in other words, Michael Savage and Robert Spencer should be shut down. Pamela Geller should be sent to Mongolia, right?

Give me a break!

You know, Muslims in America could help themselves.

They could come out and unequivocally renounce terrorism. They could speak out against it, without the Catch 22’s. For once, perhaps, they could all come out in solidarity and singularly denounce Islamic terrorism, without immediately, subsequently insisting America has a serious problem with “Islamophobia.”

But alas, CAIR is an un-indicted co-conspirator in the HLF terror funding case. Alas, CAIR board members are on the record expressing their support for Islamic Jihad.

Alas, Ibrahim Hooper of CAIR likened the famous “John Doe” passengers to KKK members.

Then they whine about Islamophobia and the incitement of hatred.

Elitism

I’ve witnessed an unfortunate development on the right.

I’ve seen it coming for a few months now, but I had no idea it was this pervasive. I had no clue as to it’s breadth.

People on the right are incapable of independent thought when it comes to Sarah Palin.

She has resigned. That’s fine. That is not the issue.

What is at issue is the resulting discussion and the behavior of Palin’s most devoted followers. I have encountered many online and offline that are engaging in some of the most willfully ignorant thought processes I have not witnessed since Barack Obama began his bid for the presidency.

Their attitude boils down to this:

If you dare to second guess Sarah
If you dare to question the wisdom or prudence of even one decision
If you express concern over her shift in direction, and question her validity as a candidate in the near future, you are as follows:

a sexist
misogynist
elitist
snob
squish
liberal plant
northeastern moron
etc.

People on our side questioning her decision have not called her names. We have not savaged her and her family as the left has done for a year.

We have engaged in civil analysis, and we are
smeared for it. Besmirched for it.

Attacked for it.

Sarah Palin has incredible potential. We want to nuture it, not see it squandered. Stop acting as if we want her to fail. We all want to win and defeat the left. We differ slightly on the how.

Wise up, conservatives. You are acting like a bunch of Obarfy voters.

Busy — Leave a message

Thanks for the advice.

But no thanks.

“Also, the way people live over there. They seem to enjoy life a little bit more. They aren’t running around as much as in New York. They enjoy time with the family. They don’t always have their Blackberries on.”

Not everyone is blessed with a lucrative, multi-million dollar acting career. They work everyday to provide for their families.

Through my fingers

Ah — the ball and chain is leaving in a month and a half

I can’t deal with it — Time keeps slipping through my fingers

It’s already the end of June, WTF?

I remember telling myself five months ago how fast time would go until she left, but now it’s just to the point of unfairness

Wow

If you read this blog, you’ll see that I have some posts dedicated to Che photos, shirts, bags, jackets, etc; a display of dumbassery.

Well, I’m sad I couldn’t get a photo at the ocean today.

This rather muscular guy was walking towards me. He was around my age, and I noticed a face TATTOOED on the area between the left shoulder and upper left pectoral muscle.

As he got closer, two things became clear:

1) He had a USMC style hat on (solid drab green colored) with a Communist red star on it.
2) The face on tattooed on him was CHE GUEVARA

What the FLYING FUCK!?

However reports say there was a flight from Sanaa, the capital of Yemen, due about 0230 (0030 BST). That flight was a connecting flight from Paris.
The three islands of Comoros are about 300km (190 miles) northwest of Madagascar in the Mozambique channel.
The exact location of the crash was not immediately known.

Updates:

French military is sending recon planes to the area, there may be one survivor, a five year old boy, and three bodies have been found along with wreckage.

What is this guy doing?

Saw him in the parking lot before “Transformers” tonight.

Is he trying to relive The Motorcycle Diaries?

Is it any coincidence his outfit/ride are red?

The Iranian Bullet Fee

The Greatness of the Iranian Regime

Upon learning of his son’s death, the elder Mr. Alipour was told the family had to pay an equivalent of $3,000 as a “bullet fee”—a fee for the bullet used by security forces—before taking the body back, relatives said.

Mr. Alipour told officials that his entire possessions wouldn’t amount to $3,000, arguing they should waive the fee because he is a veteran of the Iran-Iraq war. According to relatives, morgue officials finally agreed, but demanded that the family do no funeral or burial in Tehran. Kaveh Alipour’s body was quietly transported to the city of Rasht, where there is family.

And what does President Obarfing do about any of this?

He’s silent — and on the rare occasion he does speak out about the Iranian’s “robust debate” (as he called it), he speaks with wishy washy language, aiming to please everyone.

Pick a team, Barry.

Long Island Lolita Amy Fischer Doing Her Best to Give Long Islanders a Bad Name

No wonder everyone thinks Long Islanders are dirt bags:

The Long Island Lolita is all grown up now and she’s traded her prison garb for stripper’s lingerie.

Amy Fisher, who has gone from teenage other-woman-shooter to prison wench to writer, will dance at an Independence Day weekend show at the Déjà Vu strip club.

Once the darling of screaming New York tabloid headlines telling ribald tales of how she shot the wife of her much-older paramour when she was 17, Fisher now is a budding porn star and has embarked on a national tour of strip clubs trying to arouse interest in her new career.

“It’s a very classy show,” said Fisher from her Long Island home, where her two children splashed and screeched in the background. “It’s not really a stripper show. I’m more of an entertainer, an exotic dancer.”

She said she started dancing in January and because of her name recognition, she doesn’t have to give the triple-X version.

“I have a lot of elaborate costumes and people come to see me,” she said. Twenty-five percent of her audience, she said, typically is women.

Ryan Thomas, promotions manager at Déjà Vu chuckled when asked about the show.

“We went through the Lee Entertainment Network, her agent company,” Thomas said, “and they told us they had her available and so we picked her up.”

Two shows are scheduled for July 3 and two for July 4 at the club on Adamo Drive between Tampa and Brandon. The cover charge is $20, which is the normal cover charge, no matter who is performing, Thomas said.

“It will be interesting to see what kind of show it will be,” he said.

Great.
